THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM
Starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan
Initially set in the busy modern city life a teenager Jason,who is a bit of a nerdy type and gets bullied by jocks, is obsessed with kung-fu and frequently visits an old,blind chinese man's store to buy kung-fu movies.One day after having bought a movie the bullies stop him, the main jock idiot beating up poor Jason and forcing him to take them to the old mans shop so they can rob it.
At the shop the blind man is robbed and shot, and in his last words he gives Jason a staff and tells him it must be returned to the Monkey King.
Here the adventure begins and Im not going to tell you any more of the story.
It is filled with fun, martial arts action and great scenery.
Jet Li plays the Monkey King and Jackie Chan is an immortal drunk warrior, they end up having a fansastic kung-fu duel which I could watch over and over again!
Not a fantastic story line but it has Jet Li AND Jackie Chan!! Definetly enjoyable:)
